Grilled Pineapple with Maple Kampot Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 Pineapple, peeled and cored
  • 2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp Salty Don’s Maple Kampot Pepper
  • half cup plain yogurt or sour cream (optional)

•  Slice the pineapple into rings or lengthwise into strips about half inch thick.

•  Brush all sides of the pineapple with the olive oil and lightly coat with the Maple Kampot pepper.

•  Grill pineapple slices for about 2 minutes per side, just until slightly charred and heated through.

•  Remove pineapple from the grill and cut into bite size chunks. Arrange on a serving plate with a dish of plain yogurt or sour cream for dipping (if desired).
